Me: "I need to look at your heater hoses" Parts Monkey: "What year and make is the car?" Me: "It's not in your computer" Parts Monkey: "Trust me, it's in here" Me: "It isn't-- just get me look at your hoses to find what I need" Parts Monkey: "If I don't have a make and model, I can't look it up" Me: "You don't need to look it up, let me look at your heater hoses and I will find it!" Parts Monkey: "No can do. Tell me what it is from and we will figure it out" Me throwing my hands in the air in disgust. Diamond Dave: "Have you seen Mad Max?" Parts Monkey: "Uh, yeah" Diamond Dave: "You know that part where all the modified cars are running across the outback with crazy engines sticking out of the hoods of their cars?" I am bummed that missed the early April run but Maui has been amazing and then some. The roads here must have been designed by an engineer that was a sports car enthusiast. The road to Hana was OK, but the road from Wailuku over to Lahaina is the most interesting that I have ever driven. I am buying a GoPro and shipping the Silver Lady over. Should make a good video.
