Gutted

Everything came out easily – I’m getting pretty good at this!

A few surprises - rust holes in the floor of the foot wells on both sides right above the frame. Holes in the door sills, and a nasty hole on the passenger side of the tranny tunnel.

All but the tunnel were patched with sheet metal and rivets (don’t cringe so loud!). On the tunnel I tried POR-15 epoxy putty - a bit runny but it sealed the hole.

Floors where stripped of sound-deadener with a hammer and chisel over many hours.

It took about a month
to remove everything.
