I decided to use a “cool side” alt mount from a low-window R-16, along with a U-20 smog pump front mount. Both were bored out at the machine shop to fit the 3/8" x 7" long bolt.
Two 1" spacers and longer M8x1.5x120mm bolts mount the smog pump triangle to the timing cover.
A 1/2" spacer and 1 washer made up the difference between the rear of the alternator mounting ear and the alt mount.
