The weatherman is calling for snow down to 500 feet this weekend in the Gorge.
What is it?
The Hood River Run is an informal gathering of Datsun folks.We’ll get together for a fun run followed by a BBQ. No show and shine, no trophies. Just a fun drive, a BBQ and some time to talk and check out the cars.
We hope that everyone can show up in a Datsun, but if yours is not ready yet, bring what you can! We hope to find seats in Datsuns for the run for those who might need a little inspiration to get their project cars running.
Tentative Schedule:
12 noon - gather at WAAAM - the Western Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum 1600 Air Museum Road, Hood River, OR 97031 (come early if you want to check out the planes and cars on display).

1pm - head out for a 1-2 hour drive (route TBD). Route map will be provided.
4pm - BBQ at 2195 Belmont Drive, Hood River, OR 97031. Burgers, chicken and sausages provided. BYOB.

How to get here:
Hood River is about an hour east of Portland on I-84.

I-84 from Portland is a nice freeway drive through the Columbia River Gorge to Hood River.
If you’d like a more adventurous road, WA 14, on the Washington side of the Columbia River is a fun drive.
