A couple of stray cars

On my morning walks, I often passed by a pair of ’68 1600’s in InterBay on the way to the Ballard Locks. They were stored in a lot full of heavy industrial machinery.

One morning I noticed that one of the cars had been pushed out into the street. Guessing that they needed a new home I left a note on the windshield.

A few hours later I got a call from the owner, who was anxious to get rid of them. He’d been paying for their storage for the last 5 years and finally had enough.

The deal? $500, but I had to take both of them, and as soon as possible.
